The sustainable neighbourhoods in the Paris region
There are 67 sustainable neighbourhoods which represent 3,215 hectares of surface area and host 113,000 homes in 2017, in the Paris region. Their surface area vary from 1 hectare for the ÉcoQuartier Fréquel-Fontarabie in Paris (20th district) to 337 ha at the Moulon site in Gif-sur-Yvette (Essonne county). Over 250,000 inhabitants of the Paris region should eventually live in one of these exemplary neighbourhoods.
