Private investment in rental housing: inspiring international examples?

In the context of the current housing crisis in the Paris region, which has been worsened by the pandemic and its economic consequences, can private institutional investors contribute significantly to maintaining and producing rental housing stock? Analysis of four cases from around the world sheds light on the practices adopted by these actors, which could, under certain conditions, revitalise the housing market.
